Reception Open Day Visits
Children can start school (Reception) in the September after their fourth birthday. You need to apply for September 2026 if your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 (for a place in Reception). The applications process opens on 1 November 2025 and the deadline for applying for a Reception is 15 January 2026.
If you apply by this date, you will receive your child's school offer on National Offer Day (16 April 2026).
