Early Birds and Night Owls Wrap Around Club
ABOUT THE CLUB - The Club is based at Nursery Hill Primary School. Early Birds is open from 07:45-08:45 and Night Owls is open from 15:20-17:30 on Monday-Friday, during term time. It costs £5 for Early Bird morning session and £5 per until 4.30 and a further £5 between 4.30 and 5.30. (£10 for the whole session).
AIMS - At the Club, staff aim to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment offering a range of activities to reflect the interests of the children in our care.
WHO RUNS OUR CLUB – The club will be led by Mrs Brown
WHAT WE OFFER - Pupils are able to choose to participate in a variety of activities supported by on-site school resources. There are always a selection of activities and resources available including:
• Access to the school computer and internet facilities (supervised by club staff)
• Physical play both indoors and outdoors (weather dependant)
• Reading and homework support
• Board game and game stimulation
• Construction and building through play
We at the Club are constantly striving to stimulate and welcome pupils and their ideas so we are always looking for new suggestions as to what pupils wish to do with their time whilst they are in our care.
FOOD PROVISION - From 07:45 Monday-Friday during term time, breakfast food is supplied to pupils who arrive at the Club. Early Bird food should ensure that your child is fed and therefore engaged prior to the start of the school day.
At 15:20 – 16:30 Monday-Friday during term time, fruit is available to pupils.
At 16:30 Monday-Friday during term time, a light snack will be available to pupils who are remaining with us for the full Night Owls session.
It is the parent/carer’s responsibility to notify the club of any dietary requirements at the point of signing up their child, and on an ongoing basis if there are changes. It should be noted that the food provided at Night Owls is not intended as a substitute for a main evening meal.
